Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey is National Geographic’s first Polynesian Explorer and female Fellow. She is an expert in cultural intelligence and ethnomimicry, studying native systems to develop sustainable solutions.

Her first-hand accounts from some of the world’s most vulnerable regions are helping reshape global perspectives on leadership and conservation.

Elizabeth and her partners are leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to address some of today’s most critical environmental and cultural challenges.

She is the recipient of the United Nations Visionary Award and an award-winning filmmaker, including the prestigious CINE Award.

She has served on the boards of global organizations, including the Tibet Fund for His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and UN Ambassadors, on behalf of environmental refugees.

Mentored by one of the world’s most renowned Wayfinders, Elizabeth earned a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology with a specialization in ethnonavigation.

Elizabeth has established scholarships for women and children in the Pacific and SE Asia.
